Title: Character Artist
Reporting to: Art Director
 
Summary:
Duties:
  • To model the characters of the game following the game design;
  • To consult, create and work on graphic references that corresponding to the art direction to model the characters;
  • To work in collaboration with the animators, programmers and game designers to optimise the character final result following their restrictions;
  • To do character textures to give credibility to the character according to the art direction and the game design.

Experience and requires qualities:

Profile  Essential
 
Experience and Qualifications
  • Diploma in character modeling or the equivalent;
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in character modeling; at least 1 years as a Lead.
Technical Abilities
  • Experience in character modeling with 3D programs and 2D art applications;
  • Excellent knowledge in human anatomy, physiologic reactions, corporal language and proportions in character conception;
  • Knowledge in animation.
Interpersonal Qualities
  • Ability to be receptive to art direction and to perform well within a collaborative team environment;
  • The ability to adapt your art to our unique style and vision;
  • Strong sens of responsibility;
  • Thrives on achieving superior results;
  • Ability to cleary communicate ideas; 
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines;
  • Ability to give and receive constructive critique is required.
