| Title: Lead Animator |

Jo Summary:
Duties: |
- Bring to life unique, appealing and most of all believable characters in both in-game and cinematic scenarios;
- Respect a schedule to deliver animation assets on time to a high level of quality set by the rest of the team;
- Clearly communicate progress and issues with the Lead Animator, and be willing to understand and act upon direction;
- Manage and coach the animation team;
- Evaluate the technology restrictions on the engine for the animation view;
- Plan the technical training following the engine request and animation software used;
- If needed, evaluate contractual option for animations;
- Search for contractual companies and give recommendations to the producer;
- Work closely with the Game Design to know their needs in animation and the production delay;
- Work closely with the Programming team to evaluate the technology development needed to realize animation required by the Game Design and plan the restrictions;
- Prepare a system to plan and follow the tasks following the needs and restriction schedule;
- Evaluate and separate the tasks between the animation team;
- Participate to the recruitment process for the animation team;
- Participate to the performance evaluation yearly.

| Experience and Qualifications |
- Diploma in 3D animation or equivalent experience;
- 3 to 5 years experience in 3D animation in the video game industry; at least 1 as a Lead;
- Bilingual.

| Technical Skills |
- Working knowledge of hardware platform limitations;
- Knowledge in Animation software such as 3DSMax and Maya.
|
| Interpersonal Skills |
- Experience in project management;
- Ability to communicate, coach and mobilize a work team.
|
| Motivation and Interests |
- Ambition and passion for videogames are essential!
