Title: Lighting Artist
Reporting to: Lead Artist
 
Summary:
Duties:
  • Develop new technical tools and different processes to resolve the lighting production challenge;
  • Resolve technical artistic problems for the tools development on the game video production to improve the work process;
  • Work closely with programmers to ensure visual quality of procedural effects;
  • Research visual and technical innovation in the creative process
  • Document all the process;
  • Push the limits for the systems elaboration and the art on all projects;
  • Work closely with the Technical Director to correct mistakes and evaluate new tools;
  • Actively participate in team / department meetings.

Experience and requires qualities:

Profile  Essential
 
Experience and Qualifications
  • 2 to 4 years experience as a 3D artist real time (Level Artist, Modeling Artist, Texturer) with a interest for the lighting.  
Technical Abilities
  • Knowledge in Lighting;
  • Strong knowledge of the different jobs in the video game production;
  • Strong technical aptitude related to 3D modeling tools and game engine technologies;
  • Fluent knowledge of Maya and Photoshop;
  • Knowledge of the 2D and 3D software.

  • Leadership and strong sens of responsibility;
  • Ability to cleary communicate ideas;

  • Team Player;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
