LOOKING BACK, MOVING FORWARD
2012-01-05 16:01:00 by Eidos Montreal
Needless to say, 2012 was a banner year for us here at Eidos Montreal. We delivered our first mechanically augmented bundle of joy in August, and ever since it's been collecting gold stars and filling us with pride.
We are thrilled to be nominated for the 12th Game Developers Choice Awards in the Best Debut and Game of the Year categories. As an emerging studio, the recognition of our peers means the world to us, and we are honored to be named alongside some of the giants of the industry.
We are also overjoyed by the warm reception Deus Ex: Human Revolution received from the press and, most importantly, the gamer community. Among the highlights, we count Forbes picking DXHR as Game of the Year and the Official Xbox Magazine naming it RPG of the Year.
Our inclusion in so many year-end Games of the Year lists filled us with an inordinate amount of festive cheer. Before embarking on another year of hard work, allow us to bask one last time in the warm glow of your appreciation with our Top 10 of the Top lists of 2011!
