NATIONAL GAMING DAY IN MONTREAL
2011-11-07 14:46:00 by Eidos Montreal
To celebrate National Gaming Day, an initiative launched by the American Library Association, Montreal libraries are partnering with Eidos-Montreal for a series of activities on November 12. The goal of National Gaming Day is to highlight the social, educational and playful side of games in libraries, and to demonstrate all the talent and enthusiasm for game production in Montreal.
Throughout the day, Eidos-Montreal representatives will go around six Montreal libraries to speak about game design, production and careers. We will visit libraries in Lachine, Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Ahuntsic, Montréal-Nord, St-Léonard and Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. The talks should speak to gamers ages 13 to 25. Reserve now, places are limited, and there will be door prizes!
Libraries will also offer a bunch of other activities, including video game stations and board game sessions.
