Eidos-Montréal Partners with CSDM on Code MTL Project

Eidos-Montréal is proud to support the Code MTL project.

Eidos-Montréal is proud to support the Code MTL project, which introduces kids to programming! Watch this interview with our studio head, David Anfossi, on the importance of giving kids the chance to learn computer languages, just as they would learn any other language:

Code MTL is a project that, through the use of visual programming, is dedicated to improving digital literacy among students from 8 to 12 years old. The objective is for them to discover programming through 8 recreational workshops, developed especially for them, and offered in CSDM schools. The Code MTL program makes use of Scratch, education software that brings together 27,8 million projects created and shared by 15 million children all over the world, developed by the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology of Cambridge, in partnership with the Montreal-based Playful Invention Company. The city of Montréal is helping to support this project by launching coding clubs in its libraries, effectively providing the tools to allow entire communities to join the movement.
