Tips for your Application

We sat down with our recruiters and asked them a couple of questions for you!

Are you looking for a job or an internship, and are you interested in one of our openings? Or do you want to send us a spontaneous application? Here are some tips for joining us and craft emotions alongside our Eidossians.

Get to know us

Our studio has made a name for itself through its games, but what makes us unique are our people, our mission, and our values. If this sounds like you, it’s time to prepare your application!

Let us know you

We receive a lot of applications, and we study them all carefully. Here are some tips to make you stand out!

BEFORE APPLYING

A resume and a cover letter that look like you

These are the first things we see about “you”. Favor a neat layout that suits you. Avoid spelling mistakes, address yourself to the right company (mistakes happen more often than you would think!). If you present one, personalize your cover letter, highlight your skills, key information about your career, your professional and personal projects that make you an ideal candidate. Make us want to work with you!

A neat and adapted portfolio

We want to see your best work! Show us what you have accomplished, but also the works that have the most coherence with the position you want. Don’t hesitate to expand it with personal projects, it’s always nice to see how passionate you are.

A sincere motivation

Whether you have a lot or little experience in the video game industry, what matters to us is your motivation and your passion! Share with us your interest in the studio, your favorite video games (from us or from our talented competitors), the consoles you play on, or the games you expect the most, and your interests, even if they are not related to video games. This will give us all something to discuss.

Showcase your expertise

You may be tempted to apply for more than one job at the same time to maximize your chances, but we recommend that you focus on what really fits you and choose the position or project in which you would shine the most.

One, two, three … applications

If you’re not selected the first time around, that doesn’t mean we’re not interested in your profile. Maybe we were looking for another profile or another type of expertise at the time. Don’t be discouraged and stay on the lookout for other opportunities. In the meantime, keep honing your skills.

DURING THE INTERVIEW

That’s it, we have contacted you! Every step of the way counts. Email, phone, interview… are windows to who you are. If our recruiters call you when you’re not home, just offer to be called back when you’re back. Settle into a quiet room for a video interview, prepare any questions you may have for us, and get started! What if your cat walks past your screen?! Has your child decided to say hello to us?! Don’t be embarrassed, it happens to everyone.

An interview often brings its share of stress, but don’t worry, we’re here to talk! This is as much an opportunity for us to discover/confirm your potential, as it is for you to know if you can see yourself working and thriving with us. Recruiter, team members, everyone introduces themselves, we share our context with you, we tell you more about the expectations of the role … in short, we chat! Who are you, what brings you to us, how would you like to progress in your career…? It is important for us to understand how we could help you grow. Questions for us? Now is the time to share them, we’re here to answer!
